- 4/ If you get this error: "PriceForFreedom.app is damaged and can't be opened.", run the followind command: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine PriceForFreedom.app. But always make sure you downloaded the game from an official source.

Do you lose the full access to older game versions if you unsubscribe from Patreon / SubscribeStar?
No, you have permanent access to the specific versions that were released while you were donating (and anterior ones), you just lose future updates.
How to unlock the full game?
Just after launching the game select the website of your choice. Your default browser should open a window on this website, prompting you to allow your login. We currently support either Patreon or SubscribeStar.

Yes, but the priority is on the desktop version.
I can't run the game on Mac.

How to change the resolution.
The resolution settings are in the Graphic section of the Options menu.
If you need to change the resolution before launching the game, use the command line arguments:
-screen-width 800 -screen-height 600 -screen-fullscreen 0.
Check the Unity command line doc for more info on them.
To do this on Windows, right click on PriceForFreedom.exe, then Create shortcut. Right click on the new shortcut, then Properties. In the Target field add a space followed by the command line above.
Example: "C:\SOME_PATH\PriceForFreedom.exe" -screen-width 800 -screen-height 600 -screen-fullscreen 0.
Then press OK to close the properties, and double click on the shortcut.

My saves disapeared / I can't save.
This is usually caused by your antivirus or Windows Defender blocking the saves read / write. Add an exception rule for the PriceForFreedom executable. But make sure you downloaded the game from a trusted source (priceforfreedom.net).
Unable to load a scene.
This could be caused by your antivirus or Windows Defender blocking the files from loading. Add an exception rule for the PriceForFreedom executable. Sometimes just disabling and enabling the protection is enough. But make sure you downloaded the game from a trusted source (our website). Contact us on discord if this doesn't work.
Is there a difference between the SubscribeStar and the Patreon game version?
No, they are identical. Choose the service you prefer.
My mouse / keyboard doesn't work, or I can't click on UI elements.
Disconnect other devices that might interfere with the controls (gamepad, HOTAS, rudder pedals, wheel...). Although this shouldn't be an issue with newer versions of the game.
How to uninstall the game?
Since there is no installer you can just delete the game folder without issues. You can also remove your saves folder located here: C:/Users/USER_NAME/AppData/LocalLow/TeamDeadDeer. Finally if you want to remove absolutely everything, there is some data in the Windows registry under the TeamDeadDeer folder (or equivalent for Linux and Mac).
