  4. 4/ If you get this error: "PriceForFreedom.app is damaged and can't be opened.", run the followind command: sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine PriceForFreedom.app. But always make sure you downloaded the game from an official source.

Requirements

- This quest begins after some time passes in game.
- Finish the 4 companions first quests: Blackfur Baccarat, Scales of Justice, Loose Ends and A Tall Debt.

The purpled robe crier

Speak to the purpled robe crier in the Trade District to begin the quest, then travel to Whispering Brook using your map.

Explore the village

Explore the village, talk to Tiemon (inn) and Pastor Roddis (church), the houses, the cave, the abandonned camp... Once you have raised enough suspicions, the village will turn hostile. Head to the inn and take Tiemon's key.

Head to the church and open the door under the eagle to access the dungeon.

Sunken face room

Use the door at the bottom right of sunken face room to access the south part of the dungeon.

Explore the dungeon

Fight your way to the ritual tome at the south of the dungeon. Once there, grab the key and read the big book.

Deeper into the dungeon

With the key open the door on the left of the ceremonial hall, and head to the second floor of the dungeon (north).

The mercury

You will find the mercury on a table at the top of the dungeon.

The favoured's blood

The blood will be in the laboratory area, in a glass bubble.

The sunken face

Head back to the dungeon first floor and interact with the sunken face of the big hall. This will trigger the opening of the metal door at the end of the hall.

[Optional] Evidences

3 optional evidences are hidden around the dungeon and can be used to convince Mara to change her ways:
- Mara's Favourite Report: Located on a table in the library south of the upper floor of the dungeon.
- Prisonner: Speak to Vicca, the prisonner in the lower floor of the dungeon prison.
- Scientists Journal: A book on a table of the southest room of the lower floor of the dungeon.

Mara

Depending on the evidence you found, you may have the possibility to convince Mara to change her way. Otherwise you can either decide to get corrupted or kill her.

The favoured

Follow Mara into the cave and fight her favoured. The quest ending depends on your decisions until now.

Rewards

- Mara scene.
- 7 collectibles.
- ~20 silver coins.
- A lot of loots.
- Begins the main story events.
- Unlocks the Atlathka Blockade and The Fruit of Labour quests.
